Next Wisconsin SOHN Chapter meeting

Please join us for the next Wisconsin SOHN local Chapter meeting on Thursday, January 10, 2018 in Madison Wisconsin at UW Health. 

 

Our meeting will begin at 6 pm with dinner and presentation to start soon after.

Wisconsin SOHN Congress Scholarship

We are pleased to announce that Wisconsin SOHN would like to help support it's members in attending the annual SOHN Congress in Atlanta, Georgia.  There are two scholarships available.

Next Wisconsin Chapter Meeting

Title of Activity: How we should manage hoarseness: A review of the new clinical practice guidelines

Brief Course Description: A review of the recently published AAO- HNFS clinical practice guidelines, also endorsed by SOHN. This presentation will focus on the evidence base surrounding treatment and diagnostic decisions for patients presenting with hoarseness.

Course Description:

 

  Bell’s Palsy is a common condition with significant function sequelae. Timely and appropriate diagnosis and management is imperative. There persists a large degree of practice variability in the care of patient with Bell’s. The AAO-HNSF Guidelines for the management of Bell’s Palsy are intended to limit practice variability in this area and improve patient outcomes and cost of care. I will discuss the data supporting these recommendations and my personal experience in the care of these patients.

Congress Scholarship- 2017

It's that time of year again!  Time to think about attending SOHN's Congress, and time to think about how you are going to get there.  Fortunately, this year's event is a hop, skip, and jump away in Chicago, Illinois so no flight is necessary for most. 

 

Wisconsin SOHN is pleased this year to offer 3 scholarships to cover full registration fees to attend Congress.  Email Kristina Keppel, APNP with any questions you may have.
